I do think not enough artists make an effort to humanize disfiguration and I think this story of yours could be a means of doing that. Even if most of this disfiguration is ultimately unrealistic, it still serves the purpose of saying a person is still valid regardless of how their body looks.

Thank you. I'm never really aiming to give any specific message through my work, but I definitely try to make it to where someone walks away with something, and this is a beautiful way to interpret my little family of mutants. :)
